We tried a different waxed canvas fabric for this jacket sample. The wax has a more "damp" feel than the wax on the fabric we have historically used. The wax will transfer onto other surfaces until it starts to wear in from use. It's similar to how some other companies produce wax canvas outerwear, however, it didn't meet our criteria.
WATER RESISTANT WAX CANVAS
The Wax Rider Canvas Jacket is inspired by Amanda's grandfather and early Harley Davidson® motorcycle club jackets. The rider jacket pays homage him, who commuted weekly from the Mohican Indian Reservation to weld for Harley Davidson® during the 1950's and 1960's. When you wear it, you are wearing a jacket built to honor grandfather and his life. We built the jacket with his characteristics and values. Resilience. Bravery. Honesty. Dedication. Strength. It has has two front side pockets, two internal pouch pockets, and two front chest pockets.
